How to run commands remotely on Windows Server?

Yes we can run command remotely we need use a tool provide by Sysinternals which comes under Microsoft now

Download it from: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897553

You need download the tool on windows server from where you need to run command remotely

For example: C:psexec.exe

Before running the command you need ensure that you have proper privilege to execute the command on the remote machine and default admin$ share is shared on the destination servers.

Ok here we go

Now go to the machine from where you want to run the command remotely

Running commands for non-windows application you need make sure system path is properly set

Open command prompt and go to C drive

Now run command as below

Ok it works here we have executed vxassist rescan remotely which is volume manager command and now I will execute vxdg list

Please share the feedback
